Effective, Fun and Cool Car Air Freshener

Not only are essential oils great for use in car air fresheners, they have a multitude of other uses for you to try.  Often, they are mixed with other essential oils to create a recipe that you can use every day.

Hand Soap
A foaming hand soap can be created by blending soap and distilled water with tea tree oil, lavender oil and coconut oil.  Mixed in a pump dispenser, it makes a great hand soap.

Household Cleaner
You can mix water, rubbing alcohol and soap with eucalyptus oil to create a cleaner you can use around the home.  If you mix them in a spray container, you can use it around the home to shine your furniture and ornaments.

Baby Massage Oil
Unscented cream or lotion and a blend of lavender oil and vanilla oil can be used as a massage lotion for babies and young kids.  Just take care to avoid sensitive areas.

Yoga Mat Freshener
If you’re into yoga, but not so much the unpleasant odours on your yoga mat, you can create a spray to remove those unwanted odours.  A mixture of distilled water, vinegar and tea tree oil along with lavender oil can be used to make the yoga mat smell as fresh as new.

Foot Rub
If you’ve had a hard day on your feet and want a relaxing rub to revitalise your feet, then a blend of sea salt, jojoba, lavender, peppermint and rosemary oils can be applied to your feet and left for a couple of minutes before being rinsed off with warm water.

Face Spray
Water, lemon oil, citronella oil, tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil can be mixed together in a spray bottle to create a stress relieving facial spray.

Face Mask
Another use for essential oils for the face is a face mask.  A blend of European clay powder, tea tree oil, lavender oil and water can be applied to the face for 15 minutes before being removed with warm water.
